Dan Jones really got it wrong

The Dan Jones poll says that 2/3 of Utahns want to grant illegal aliens some form of amnesty. What a load of garbage. Utah needs a better poll!

Check out the KSL writeup on the issue at http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=215475

Don't forget to read the comments board on the KSL website under this story and find out just how many Utahns are really upset over this issue. Dan Jones is no more than a sample of a few people, the comments board is about the same thing. About 90% of the comments on the above KSL page are against amnesty!

Of course there is a problem when you mess up the wording. If I were to ask if illegals should be given amnesty or shot I bet most would say given amnesty. But if I were to say shot or sent home then I think most would say sent home. Of course the number of comments only shows that the majority of the people with posted comments don't support amnesty and may be a poor sampling of the majority of Utahns. Ideally you would have a good poll and the story would have a link to detailed results of the poll so people could see what was really done.
